General Activation Steps

Find your OTC card — Check your Medicare Advantage welcome packet. Your OTC card usually arrives within 2-4 weeks of enrollment.

Look for the activation sticker — Most cards have a sticker with a phone number or website for activation.

Call or go online — Follow the instructions. You'll need your member ID and the card number.

Set your PIN (if required) — Some plans require a 4-digit PIN for in-store purchases.

Start shopping! — Your card is ready to use at approved retailers or online.
