Ordering your free OTC products online is easier than you might think. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan with an OTC benefit, you can get vitamins, pain relievers, first aid supplies, and more shipped to your door at no cost.
This guide walks you through the entire process, step by step.
Step 1: Confirm Your OTC Benefit
Not all Medicare plans include an OTC benefit. To find out if yours does:
- Check your plan's Evidence of Coverage (EOC) document
- Call the number on the back of your Medicare card

Step 2: Know Your Quarterly Allowance
Your OTC benefit resets every quarter:
- Q1: January 1 – March 31
- Q2: April 1 – June 30
- Q3: July 1 – September 30
- Q4: October 1 – December 31
Important: Unused balances do NOT roll over. If you don't use your Q2 allowance by June 30, it's gone forever.

What if I don't use all my allowance?
