Activating Your OTC Card
Most OTC cards arrive pre-activated. But if yours needs activation:
- Check the sticker: Your card may have an activation sticker with a phone number
- Call the number: Follow the automated prompts to activate
- Try it online: Log into your plan's member portal and look for "Activate OTC Card"
- Visit a store: Some cards activate automatically on first use at an approved retailer
Card Not Working?
If your card is declined:
- Make sure you're at an approved store for your plan
- Check that the items are OTC-eligible (not cosmetics or food)
- Verify your quarterly balance hasn't been used up
- Call the number on the back of your card for help
